Dear Craig, I am pleased to offer the following as a referral on behalf of the College. Rostrevor College installed a Heliocol Solar Pool Heating System to our heat our swimming pool in January 2009. Heliocol SA completed all our Occupational Health and Safety requirements before commencing on-site and worked safely while here. The work area was left in a clean and tidy manner and the College had no issues or concerns with any of the Heliocol SA staff or deliveries. The Heliocol pool heating system has worked efficiently and met all our requirements with very good feedback from our pool users regarding the water temperature. The system has been virtually maintenance free, A fault in one of our pool filters shut down the system to prevent any damage and Heliocol SA were quick to respond to explain how the solar system was linked and required all filters to be operational. Heliocol have made a number of follow up visits to ensure we continue to be happy with the Solar Pool heating and this has been appreciated. Adelaide Zoo had an unusual problem, our Tigers would not swim in their pool, as the water was too cold. We worked with Heliocol Solar who adapted one of their Solar heating systems to fit into our existing filtration system of the tiger pool in a very tight area with minimal access. Heliocol staff were very efficient and demonstrated an excellent level of knowledge and service and have continued to do so with their professional follow up. It is with great pleasure that I offer this reference to Paul Verheyden of Heliocol Solar Pool Heating. Paul gave me a quote in December to which I replied that I needed the solar heating installed soon and in a very small window after other work was completed on the pool and before my relatives arrived from the UK (a matter of days only). Heliocol managed to slot me in at very short notice. The boys came exactly when they said they would and did what was an enormous and very tricky job, due to the geography of my property, in record time. They were punctual, polite and very professional. Where they had to remove paving to install under paved steps, you would not know it had even been disturbed! Paul Verheyden came to switch the system on (even as the pool was still filling), even on a Saturday which was much appreciated. When my ancient spa pump could not cope with the volume and distance for the water to travel to my roof, quickly offered to lend me a pump he had with him until they could come back at no extra cost to see how they could further improve the system to accommodate my old pump. Finally, when I decided to purchase the new pump as my other pool filter pump packed up the next day, the boys at Heliocol still came back to make adjustments and improvements to the whole Within only one day, my pool went from 26 degrees to 30 degrees centigrade and has been working beautifully ever since. It is a total joy to have such an efficient heated pool and it has had about 100 times its old use and that’s just in the last month! The many local cockatoos have not been interested in my tough Heliocol solar pipes despite 8 of them at one time being on my neighbor’s roof one day last week chewing away at their soft pipes. Thank you very much, Heliocol, for doing an amazing job. I have been highly recommending you to anyone who asks.

Not only did he do me a great price but he even came out on a Saturday and installed it all on his own. I mentioned to him how excited my young kids were that we had finally purchased a new solar heating for our pool and that they were super keen to get it installed. He told me that there would be several weeks until they would be able to install, but because my kids were so excited he decided to install it himself. Thought I would just give you some feedback on our Solar that you installed in Boronia… Must say that we have never used the spa this early in the season and we are getting plenty of use out of it so far and its only been a couple of weeks… The system is working great and keeping the water temp to a constant 29/30 degrees obviously depending on the weather… Just wanted to say thanks for your work and professionalism through the process. Coorong District Council has a public pool in Coonalpyn SA, in 2005 we embarked on a project to solar heat the Pool to provide a more pleasant water temperature for patrons and allow us to extend our season. A grant from the Department of Sport and Recreation was matched dollar for dollar by Council. We choose Heliocol to install our system, Wayne and his team were able to advise us on the required roof space and other Technical details. Council attached a veranda to the Kiosk/amenity block and a shade structure over the Toddlers pool to accommodate the solar tubing. “Full, on-site appraisals with no guess work.” Just had Edward and his team from Heliocol WA install our solar pool heating and did a fantastic job. Edward was the only person to actually come out, look at our setup and fully explain what the best solution would be. We decided to go with this solution as the quality was excellent and the piping system on the roof looked the neatest and most secure. The actual install was done by Tim who kept me in the loop at all times, confirmed where he was putting things and why and did a first class job. Overall highly recommended and over the moon with the heating.

We, for some years, have had a Heliocol Solar System to heat our pool and have never had any problems with the system. As we are now retired and have made a decision to stay in this house, we thought we had better get it checked out. Heliocol Representative Brett Johnson called and briskly got on the roof to check the system. He was amazed that it was the oldest system he had seen (17 years) and informed us that it was operating perfectly and we still have eight years warranty left. I asked him if there was any way we could improve with what we had and he suggested a solar controller, which we did. Isn’t it amazing, in the world today, you can still get a product, like Heliocol, which is still successfully operating after 17 years.

I would like to extend a warm thanks to you and the contractor team headed by Brett Johnson for the excellent job Heliocol did on the pool heating installation at our site in Pulpit Point. I found both you and Brett easy to work with and your advice was invaluable in providing the most practical, cost effective and aesthetically satisfactory installation for our requirements. This information was delivered in terms that were easy for the Home Owner’s Association to understand in making their decision. In particular, Brett sought input from me as to how we would prefer to route the pipe work and position the components. This involved extra detailing to follow complex lines on a pergola structure and the final result is a very professional looking installation with the lowest visibility possible. To date three residents have already provided me with positive feedback, all within one week of completion. I was more than comfortable leaving your team to coordinate directly with the estate landscapers to manage the required landscaping and safety requirements in my absence. Heliocol is now on our preferred contractors list and should any further work arise at our other sites or in my personal contact I will have no hesitation in passing your details on with my highest recommendations.
